Agile Trainer

Our clients are large enterprise businesses transforming their marketing teams into Agile processes and teams. The ability to manage Agile workflows, team collaboration and getting more done, more quickly is why our clients use the Simple platform.

Our clients love our technology and now we need a skilled Agile trainer to teach them how to transform teams and processes for Marketing, into an Agile way of working.

Where you play:

  • Running workshops to educate teams on Agile overall and how to transform into Agile ways of working
  • Designing and running tailored team training sessions
  • Interpreting existing workflows into an agile framework
  • Advising and recommending how teams can operate differently in order to be agile, make decisions and move quickly
  • Productise our Agile training and consultancy offering to clients

How you win:

  • Successfully uncover needs and gaps and tailor training accordingly – we are not looking for someone who rehashes a standard presentation time and time again
  • Be an engaging trainer
  • Design interactive workshops that make sense to the way client teams are structured
  • Design support material, training collateral and content to promote Simple within the realm of Agile marketing

Skills required:

  • Experience working in Agile teams in either product or marketing
  • Experience in training Agile methods, experience as an Agile coach or Scrum Master
  • Experience presenting to large groups and developing training programs

Desired Experience:

  • Experience in Agile marketing specifically
  • Experience in a client facing role at an enterprise business level
  • Experience liaising at the CMO and COO level

Product Trainer

As a Trainer with Simple you play a critical role in our business by ensuring that all users are confident and capable using the Simple platform.

Our enterprise clients are successful when their marketing teams are using Simple consistently and confidently across their business. Therefore, you are responsible for developing training programs, with our clients, and running training sessions and workshops both face to face and online.

Three Keys to Success

You will know that you are being successful in your role when:

  1. Platform Usage is High: Users from our client teams should be regular users and data will support the levels by which users create and manage marketing programs of work in Simple.
  2. You know the training needs of each client: You will be able to analyse and assess user data to identify training opportunities and design multi-channel training programs to meet these needs. This can include workshops, webinars, collateral and guides.
  3. Training Revenue: Training is productised into packages and promotions and you are successful in selling training services to clients. You are also able to develop training related content and free tutorials that not only provide genuine value but also act as a channel to a paid for service.

Senior .Net Engineer

Simple is looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer with a focus on BackEnd development.

Your main responsibility is to design and implement the product roadmap as defined by the leadership team. You will own the backend and help develop the flagship product for the next 6-12 months, then move on to the new product where you will help shape the future of
the application.

You will implement new features that provide customer value, help reduce the complexities
around the existing platform and address customer issues. You should have a deep
understanding of the agile process and how to manage the workload of a team during sprint
cycles. You will be working closely with other Software Engineers, Product Managers,
Designers and QA to ensure that the squad delivers on their objectives.

Required skills and experience

  • Minimum 5 years .Net development experience with a backend focus
  • Unit testing experience with frameworks such as NUnit, XUnit or similar
  • Experience with ORMs such as EF or LightSpeed
  • Proficiency with MS SQL
  • Good understanding of Web API, MVC and ASP.NET
  • Proven experience in building web applications or SaaS solutions
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and when to use them
  • Experience with source control such as Git or SVN
  • A passion for learning and working with new languages, particularly React and Golang.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with RESTful API’s and/or microservices
  • Basic DB skills (e.g. SQL, NoSQL)
  • Good understanding of web standards and architecture
  • Knowledge in JavaScript and MV* frameworks such as React

Simple is looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer with a focus on FrontEnd development.

Your main responsibility is to architect and implement the product roadmap as defined by the leadership team. You will own the frontend and help develop the flagship product for the next 612 months, then move on to the new product where you will help shape the future of the application’s frontend architecture.

You will help reduce the complexities around the existing platform, address customer issues as well as implement new features that provide customer value. You must have a deep understanding of the agile process and how to manage the workload of a team during sprint cycles. You will be working closely with other Software Engineers, Product Managers, Designers and QA to ensure that the squad delivers on their objectives.

Required skills and experience

  • Minimum 5 years frontend development experience
  • Proven experience in building web applications or SaaS solutions
  • Strong understanding of web standards and architecture
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and when to use them
  • Deep knowledge in JavaScript and MV* frameworks such as React, Knockout, Angular, Backbone (or similar)
  • Excellent frontend skills using modern HTML5 and CSS3 including LESS/SASS and Bootstrap
  • Experience with Node.js and npm/yarn package management
  • Experience with task runners such as Grunt, Gulp or Webpack
  • Experience with RESTful API’s and/or microservices
  • Experience with source control such as Git or SVN

Bonus skills

  • Experience with C#
  • Basic DB skills (SQL, NoSQL)
