Bookkeeper

Reporting to the Management Accountant, this role will be responsible for:

  • Balance sheet reconciliations – Monthly reconciliations for various accounts
  • Accounts receivable – Processing of invoices and reconciliation of payments
  • Creditor payments, management of credit cards and staff expense reimbursements
  • Fixed assets – maintenance of fixed asset register
  • Assist in payroll and related transactions
  • Assist in the preparation of Monthly Management Accounts including analysis and revi
  • Provide ad hoc assistance to the Management Accountant as required

This role offers access to an array of Finance functions allowing you to utilise your considerable skills and experience across all facets of the accounting function. There is also scope for the role to expand and be tailored to your skill set and interests.

Desired skills:

  • Several years experience as bookkeeper
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills as well as problem-solving skills
  • Excellent skills in Excel and experience with Xero desirable but not necessary
  • Highly organised and willingness to take on a variety of tasks

Senior QA Engineer

  • Lead and deliver on the QA objectives for the business including manual testing of the Simple product suite
  • Champion the software quality through heavy collaboration with other team members throughout the software delivery cycle
  • Mentor and skill up a team of mid/junior QA engineers

Delivery Manager

Simple is searching for a Delivery Manager with a proven track record in managing the end-to-end implementation of cloud software solutions. As the Delivery Manager at Simple you will lead and manage the onboarding of new Simple customers and the implementation of ongoing services throughout the customer’s lifecycle

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Specific efforts include understanding the unique business requirements of Enterprise marketing teams and translating/presenting those needs into a compelling demonstration of Simple’s functional and technical capabilities.
  • Willing and able to travel (primarily between Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne)
  • Extensive experience in marketing operations, digital marketing and relevant marketing applications / technology.
  • Expertise in an industry vertical (i.e. Financial Services, Retail, FMCG, Technology, Media, etc.)

Pre-Sale:

  • Ability to coordinate Simple team members, collaborate and deliver additional product solution value within the sales cycle to win new business
  • Coordinate individuals and teams in the identification of business requirements and solution delivery following Simple’s solution process: (1) Strategy & Objectives, (2) Scope, (3) Design, (4) Build & Testing, (5) Delivery (6) Implementation, training and support requirements (see further detail on page 15).
  • Design, engage the market and deliver winning solutions aligned to Simple’s product roadmap and vision to generate revenue opportunities and enable customers to realise their business goals and objectives.
  • Fully understand and clearly articulate the benefits of the Simple platform and its supporting services to prospective customers and across all managerial levels.
  • Excel at demonstrating the Simple platform and it’s capability during the pre-sales phase and develop a deep understanding of the Simple platform and it’s user and technical capabilities.

Implementation:

  • Manage each implementation and solution engagement to a project plan, coordinating resources throughout the end-to-end delivery lifecycle.
  • Coordinate and manage discovery sessions during implementation to capture the customer’s marketing business requirements so this can be refined and translated into Simple’s platform.
  • Manage and deliver against allocated project budgets and report on this on a regular cadence both internally within Simple and to the customer.
  • Coordinate onboarding training sessions during implementation and solution engagements to ensure the customer is setup for success and handover to the Customer Success team for ongoing management and service.

Post Sale:

  • Coordinate Simple team members and the customer in the identification of business requirements and solution delivery following Simple’s solution process: (1) Strategy & Objectives, (2) Scope, (3) Design, (4) Build & Testing, (5) Delivery (6) Implementation, training and support requirements.
  • Deliver winning solutions aligned to Simple’s product roadmap and vision to generate revenue opportunities and enable customers to realise their business goals and objectives.

As the Solutions Consultant at Simple you will work with some of Australia’s largest brands to onboard them on to Simple’s Marketing platform and deliver ongoing services and scalable marketing solutions throughout the customer’s lifecycle.

System Administrator

Simple is looking for a Systems Administrator (SysAdmin) to lead and deliver on the internal IT objectives for the business. The SysAdmin will:

  • Manage and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on both Windows and Macs.
  • Deploy workstations and maintain an SOE.
  • Manage Windows Servers, Active Directory, IIS and some Linux systems.
  • Conduct routine server maintenance and patching.
  • Manage the internal network.
  • Conduct user provisioning and user terminations.
  • Act as a first point of contact for internal user issues.
  • Manage and record the business’ IT assets.
  • Assist with misc. items, such as cabling, power issues, building issues, and other general issues.

Customer Engagement Manager

Simple is searching for a Customer Engagement Manager to build a customer centric culture and team to wow our user base globally. This role will initiate campaigns to drive awareness and adoption of features and products that keep customers engaged in our product. You’ll take a user experience-focused approach to deeply understand the issues affecting customers today and the best outreach to improvement that experience, whether through traditional campaign channels, product improvements, or something else entirely. You’ll work closely with our Voice of the Customer, Marketing, Product, and Design teams, as well as with analytics gurus in your own team to gather inputs for customer engagement models that make sense, as well as measuring your success. To be successful, you’ll need to be a self-starter who can kick off collaboration with a variety of teammates and distill those ideas into a cohesive plan.

This is a pivotal role in Simple’s journey as a company and will provide the opportunity to develop programs to reach customers in ways we’ve never done before. In this role, you’ll exhibit unflagging enthusiasm for making every part of our customer’s journey painless, and try new ideas and initiatives that help us foster loyalty and retention.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Experience using customer insights to develop and implement customer communication strategies and campaigns, including all components (e.g., legal compliance, scheduling, targeting, design testing, measurement of engagement metrics)
  • Strong ability to guide projects with multiple partners, taking a balanced and pragmatic approach that still challenges to status quo
  • Technical whiz, and have an enthusiasm for understanding a technical product portfolio so you can develop empathy for the customer and speak their language
  • Deep understanding of the customer journey, including customer support, account management, problem resolution via support and onboarding best practices
  • Comfortable managing relationships and taking a proactive position while navigating multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) and ability lead presentations, facilitate discussions and advocate new ideas with all levels of the organization including executives
