Senior Functional Consultant

The Senior Functional Consultant is responsible for Customer Engagement (including building and maintaining relationships at all stakeholder levels, training and ongoing Customer support and follow-up), Project Management, Business Analysis (including needs assessments / analysis, requirements definition, business process mapping and configuring of the Simple Platform to support the Customer’s business needs and processes).

Typical Day Snapshot

  • Identifies Customer’s work practices/ways of working and understands the nature of their businesses to properly define needs and customise solutions using the Simple Platform
  • Conduct workshops, onsite and remotely, to analyse the Customer’s individual needs
  • Guide Customers on best practice, and assist with streamlining of existing, or engineering to-be state business processes
  • Elicit and capture functional and non-functional requirements
  • Conducts Stakeholder and Training Needs Analysis
  • Assist with providing estimates on work and determines the project scope
  • Determines required resources and create realistic timelines, communication and project governance plans to support a successful implementation
  • Maintains an effective Customer relationship
  • Coordinates and conducts Customer Training
  • Leads the development of a strategic vision for product development and enhancement through strong Customer collaboration and validation

What it takes to be a Consultant at Simple

  • 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably as a Consultant or Analyst
  • Strong Customer Engagement skills
  • Understanding of SaaS, Cloud, ERP
  • Understanding of Agile delivery
  • Digital Marketing experience or background – preferred
  • Openness to travel (Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and International)

Customer Support and User Engagement Specialist

The objective of this role is to ensure the users of Simple have their needs and issues addressed with the best possible customer experience. Doing that involves ensuring you have intimate product knowledge and are armed with the information and resources needed to effectively provide support for end users across a vast number of areas quickly and easily on a daily basis.

A key part of the role involves working with the Customer Success Team to drive engagement on the platform to keep our users interested in, and enthusiastic about Simple. Your role is to exceed customer expectations.

  • Be working in a team in a fast-paced, growing environment where customer satisfaction, empathy, problem solving, attention to detail and helpful attitudes are critical.
  • Be acting as one of, the main points of contact for Simple’s end user base.
  • Communicate with users via a number, investigating and resolving issues, fielding general help questions and addressing training opportunities to help improve user experiences.
  • Work closely with the technical development team to investigate and resolve issues.

Project Manager

The Project Manager, is responsible for the delivery of Simple’s Professional Services implementation of the Simple Platform. The Project Manager will drive the implementation of Simple’s Professional Services engagement according to the agreed upon scope, time and budget, while ensuring the highest degree of Customer satisfaction:

Typical Day Snapshot:

    • Identifies and analyse project requirements in order to develop and produce strategies to ensure communications, change management and action plans are effectively applied.
    • Collaborating, liaising and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient project delivery
    • Managing project teams and resources across a wide range of project functions to perform development, implementation, training and maintenance of agreed deliverables
    • Proper management of and adherence to contractual and budget obligations, to ensure projects are delivered within planned cost, time and resource allocations
    • Manage project progress, and ensure performance indicators are established and monitored in order to ensure quality delivery
    • Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and other auditing requirements
    • Establish and manage operational aspects of projects through preparation of status reports, project plans, and related project documentation required for successful project delivery
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of quality processes, products and services
    • Manage and act as an escalation point for risks and issues, tracking, reporting and actively managing mitigation and resolution strategies

Skills/Experience required:

  • 5-7 years of professional experience as a Project Manager
  • Proficient in Agile and other Project Management methodologies, i.e. Prince2, PMP etc
  • Strong Customer Engagement skills
  • Multi-functional team leadership skills
  • Well developed skills in preparation and presentation of substantial reports and communications
  • Well developed interpersonal skills; liaising, consulting and negotiating will all Customer groups, including C-level executives
  • Well developed understanding of Change Management processes and impact of change on individuals and working groups in a commercially driven environment
  • Understanding of SaaS, Cloud, ERP
  • High level analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills
  • Openness to travel (Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and International)

Sales Manager

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for implementing a structured sales plan aimed at generating new business and building strong, trust-based relationships with customer decision-makers at senior levels.

The Sales Manager develops a nominated list of target accounts and prospects based on a defined territory. You will have the primary responsibility for driving the execution of sales engagements. You will be accountable for continuous account planning that drives short-term and long-term growth, new customer footprints/applications, territory funnel management, accurate forecasting, field relationships with Partners to expand coverage within the territory and for working with Professional Services to build a sustainable consulting stream. This is a quota carrying position that is very measurable

Your role will be to:

    • Acquire new customers each month by demonstrating value based on our mission
    • Sell our software and services in line with our values and behaviours
    • Lead the analysis of the customer’s market, business targets and strategies so you can influence decision-makers in order to identify new opportunities and track all sales opportunities and activities
    • Implement a structured sales plan aimed at generating new business
    • Build strong, trust-based relationships with customer decision makers at senior levels

Pre-Sales Consultant

We are looking for a product expert in the MRM 2.0 space who can present, demonstrate and successfully deliver a solution to enterprise customers. If you have done both pre-sales and delivery in the marketing technology space, this role is perfect for you!

The pre-sales consultant is employed as a technical expert with the task of working closely with sales teams to ensure that the products being offered can be tailored to meet the customer’s requirements.

The responsibility will be on you to drive and create an active pipeline of opportunities in conjunction with our internal sales teams and our channel partners. You’ll thrive on developing and maintaining customer relationships whilst always ensuring that their business needs are met through your solution design skills.

Your role will be to:

    • Demonstrate the value proposition of the Simple platform to prospective customers
    • Put together business cases for the sales teams to support their proposals
    • Work closely and collaboratively with customers to devise effective solution
    • Implement a structured sales plan aimed at generating new business
    • Working closely with customers to understand and capture requirements
    • Presenting proposals to customers alongside members of the sales team
    • Producing detailed costings for customers and ensuring the contract is Planning of sales strategies, the positioning in contrast to the competitors and the demonstration of the business detailed costings for customers and ensuring the contract is profitable
